Xzibit Pimps His Own Ride, A Custom Jeep Wrangler

For six seasons, Pimp My Ride, gave the world a view into extreme auto customization, while simultaneously giving car enthusiasts the guilty pleasure of asking, “Why would you do THAT?!” At the show’s core was its host, rapper Xzibit, who was always winking at the camera. Now, the pimpee becomes the pimped with his new tuned Jeep Wrangler. Xzibit bought a new four-door Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon back in June. Since then, it has apparently undergone more than a few upgrades, including HIDprojectors, big KMC Wheels, and knobby Toyo Tires. We also see a Warn winch in there. It is not clearly stated who did the tune on this bad-ass off-roader, but we don’t think it was his pals over at West Coast Customs. The company JCR Off Road is tagged on one of Xzibit’s Instagram posts about his newly pimped ride. (The images come from Instagram, so apologies for half the ride being chopped off.) Our sleuthy powers of deduction would lead us to conclude JCR had a big hand in it. RELATED: See images of the Jeep Wrangler Maximum Performance Concept

The second Instagram post from X showed his Jeep in the shadows, as to show off the work from HIDprojectors. The company not only does the lights, but many of their social media posts show custom body work to give the circular Jeep headlights a meaner mug. The post from X says that this is just “Phase 1” of the Jeep build. We can’t wait to see what he has in store for Phase 2. In the meantime, we'd be more than happy to read some of your best "Yo dawg..." Xzibit meta-jokes in the comments below...
