The Lamborghini Urus SUV Could Get a Hotter SV Version
Lamborghini hasn’t even started building its new Urus SUV—not to mention the fact that they just announced it a few weeks ago. And already, there are some rumors floating around the interweb suggesting that a hotter Super Veloce (SV) version is in the works. The rumor comes from Autocar, so naturally, we have to take it with a grain of salt. But according to the publication, Stephan Winkelmann himself said there very well could be a Urus SV on the horizon. “We have more than enough ideas,” said Winkelmann. “But it is too early to confirm anything. All options are possible and we will work on evaluating them in the run-up to launch. If our customers want to see something, we’ll do our best to meet their needs.” RELATED: The Lamborghini Urus SUV Concept is Definitely a Looker
You hear that, customers? You can decide the fate of the Urus SV.
Other news suggests that the Urus will carry over many similar design cues from the concept, and will be developed in Lamborghini’s new 150,000 square meter facility. Oh, not to mention it will likely be the fastest SUV in the world when it hits dealerships. Don’t tell Bentley that, though.
Expect to see the production version of the Urus sometime in the next two years before it goes on sale in 2018.
