Alfa Romeo Giulia Sportwagon Rendering Offers a Glimpse at What Could Be
The Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio Verde just made its eagerly awaited debut in Italy. It boasts a twin-turbo V6 engine tuned by Ferrari that produces 510 horsepower and has a perfect 50/50 weight distribution. Now that the car has debuted, it's time for people to have their way with the design and imagine what else Alfa Romeo might build. Designer Xtomi decided to imagine the new Giulia in the tradition of the 159 Sportwagon, and the results are very nice, to say the least. Of course, it's not as sporty as the Giulia, but it would make for one slick-looking car when you drop the kids off at school in the morning. RELATED: See More of the 510-Horsepower Alfa Romeo Guilia
It still manages to capture the vibe of the Giulia, but with the added utility that comes from being a station wagon. Sportwagon sounds much better than station wagon anyways, and when it looks like this rendering, it's not a bad thing at all.
Whether or not Alfa Romeo will choose to take the new Giulia into the world of sportwagons isn't clear. If they do choose that route, taking some cues from this design would not be a bad thing at all.
