Just 21 months after production began, Porsche has officially closed the door on 918 production. In case you forget, the Porsche 918 has an 887-horsepower hybrid V8 that propels the car to 60 mph in just 2.6 seconds, on to a limited top speed of 214 mph. It also holds the record for the fastest street-legal car to lap the Nurburgring at 6 minutes and 57 seconds. If you’re still looking to get your hands on one, the used market should start opening up. But with a starting price of $845,000, only expect that number to get higher. It is a collector’s item, after all. RELATED: The Porsche 911 RSR is a Hardcore Race Car ____________________________________ Click Here to Read the Original Article on BoldRide
