2016 Chrysler 300 SRT Coming...Just Not to the U.S.

Those in the U.S. hoping to get their hands on the sexy new 2016 Chrysler 300 SRT look like they're out of luck. A few weeks after spy shots of a possible prototype surfaced on the Internet, a spokesman for FCA has stated that it will definitely not be coming stateside. Life just isn't fair. Rumors started swirling when the prototype was spotted driving the streets of Michigan without anything to disguise its new lines. The updated Chrysler 300 SRT sports a new front bumper, new grille, and additional LED lights. There's also a trunk-mounted rear spoiler, dual exhausts, and new taillights. It looks mighty fine, though, you can't have one if you're in the U.S. RELATED: See Photos of the 2014 Chrysler 300 SRT

Unfortunately, FCA has said it's only going to hit the roads outside the US. No details have been confirmed about what's hiding under the hood, but we can make a good guess. It probably has a Hemi V8 6.4-liter that will give drivers 485 horsepower and 475 lb-ft of torque to play. It will also likely have an 8-speed automatic transmission, but we'll have to wait awhile longer to hear the details directly from FCA.
