Jeep's 7 Easter Safari Concepts are Crazy Cool

Every year Jeep graces the off-road community with a collection of concepts to take on the Moab Easter Safari. And every year they’re pretty awesome. This year marks the 49th anniversary of the beloved event, and the concepts are no less awesome, if you couldn’t already tell. Jeep Chief Concept Let’s start with my personal favorite– the Chief. In honor of the 1970 full-size Cherokee, designers went to work making over the standard Wrangler with this retro look. It features an Ocean Blue and white two-tone paint job, and enough chrome on the front end to force you to wear sunglasses. Even better is the Hawaiian surfer themed interior. Jeep Staff Car Concept With an apparent military vibe, the Jeep Staff Car pays tribute to the legendary Jeep military vehicles throughout history. Though, this rugged machine features a modern suspension and a 3.6-liter V6 engine. Jeep Wrangler Africa Concept From one rugged Jeep to a different kind. Where the Staff Car plays into Jeeps military history, the Africa concept heads to another continent to celebrate Jeep. With a Wrangler underneath, the stretched and sexy 4x4 uses Dana 44 axles from Jeep’s performance shop. Jeep Grand Cherokee Overlander Concept Fast forward to the 21st century, and Jeep’s modern Grand Cherokee gets an outdoorsy makeover. New wheels, new exterior accents— oh, and did you see the tent on the top of it? Because there’s a tent on the top of it. Jeep Wrangler Red Rock Responder Concept If you the thought the Jeep Wrangler couldn’t get any more bad ass— think again. The Red Rock Responder is here to help anyone out on the trail with a bed loaded with emergency gear and enough group clearance to traverse a small building. Jeep Renegade Desert Hawk Concept Who said the little guy can’t get in on the fun? The Jeep Renegade Desert Hawk concept gets a sweet name change, off-road parts, and a custom paint job. Jeep Cherokee Canyon Trail Last, but certainly not least— the Cherokee Canyon Trail. The lone Cherokee in the lineup, the 4x4 gets a subtle exterior makeover with a satin black hood and a desert-inspired paint job. And underneath, Mopar performance parts and a 2.4-liter Tigershark engine. Not half bad. The entire Jeep crew will take to the trails of Moab, Utah, from March 28 to April 5. _____________________________________ Click Here to Read the Original Article on BoldRide
