McLaren Brings the Noise With its Latest Teaser
As you know, this week was the Geneva Motor Show. And if you didn’t— where the heck have you been? But as Geneva winds to close, and in fact this was the 85th Geneva Motor Show, we can no look towards the future. Onward, to the New York Auto Show! Yes ladies and gentlemen, it’s that time again. It’s time for teasers, partial reveals, dodgy PR reps, and us getting our hopes up that Alfa Romeo will finally bring a manual diesel 159 wagon to the States. Hey we can dream right? RELATED: Check Out All of our Geneva Auto Show Coverage But in all seriousness, we’re in the thick of Auto Show season, and reveals and teasers aren’t going to let up any time soon. So in the spirit of that fact, McLaren, the men and women behind some of the most jaw dropping supercars in the world, have decided to lay another teaser on us for the company’s new Sport Series, and it’s a good one.
Ah, glorious supercar noises running on snow and kicking up rooster tails, does life get any better than that? I think not. This new McLaren will feature the same 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged V8 found in the 12C, 650S, and P1, but it has been detuned to be more comparable with the Porsche 911.
The new McLaren Sport Series will officially debut next month in New York. Stay tuned for more teasers.
