Here's How You Clear a Snow-Covered Car With Your Stereo
Winter life hack: use your car stereo as a snow and ice scraper. That's the trick one Dodge Magnum owner figured out. Instead of standing outside, slowly brushing off the layer of powder and freezing his face off, this guy decided to turn his sound system, which is most certainly not stock (can you say subs?) all the way to 11. Poof, just like that, the windows are clear. Sadly, the video continues, circles around to the front seats of the vehicle, and shows that a young child is sitting there with his hands covering his ears. As Carscoops points out, those levels of sound aren't good for the car, let alone a person. There's no reason to have that kid in there. RELATED: Watch This Guy Try and Clear Snow With a Jet Engine
Though this is a much more basic and much more extreme example, this reminds us of the project McLaren is working on to remove windshield wipers and replace them with ultrasonic sound waves that essentially protect the windshield. Could the future eventually feature cars that are entirely protected with tiny "forcefields?"
