Richard Rawlings Bought the Ringbrothers Pantera ADRNLN

Need proof that custom car builders appreciate each other's handiwork? Look no further than Gas Monkey Garage's Richard Rawlings. Moments after Rawlings watched his old Ferrari F40 build sell on the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale auction block, the Texan bid on the famous Ringbrothers 1971 De Tomaso Pantera 'ADRNLN'. And at $300,000 – he won. Get you some of that.  The Pantera ADRNLN came to life back in 2013 when its owner, Randy Brickle, passed away after a battle with cancer. Brickle's wife Cheryl was determined to restore and overhaul her husband's coveted sports car in his memory, so she sought out Mike and Jim Ring for the job. We'd say they did quite well. Under the lid, the Pantera packs a modern Wegher Motorsport LS3 V8 chucking out 600 horsepower, funneled to the ground through a ZF five-speed gearbox. The throaty V8 exhales through a Flowmaster stainless steel exhaust system, and all that power comes to a rest thanks to a set of Baer six-piston brakes and grippy Nitto Invo tires on HRE three-piece forged wheels. Inside, the ADRNLN features a dazzling two-tone interior, inspired by none other than Nike. A chance meeting at SEMA in 2012 brought Nike's skunkworks design team together with the Ringbrothers, and collaboration ensued –the driver's side interior comes dressed in cream colored leather, while the passenger's side gets a sumptuous dark treatment. The shoe firm even crafted a pair of matching kicks that came with the car, maybe we'll see those on Richard's feet during the next episode of Fast N' Loud.
