Good News! The 'Top Gear' Boys Got a LEGO Makeover
Good News! Your favorite British motoring TV presenters are back with a new season, and it's streaming entirely in LEGO format. We jest. But the Top Gear boys have made a trailer for their upcoming season using the famous building blocks. Richard is having some attachment issues, Jeremy can't find the Stig's body, and James has lost his hair. I'd imagine this type of thing happens a bit more often than not. The video not only promotes the show, but also LEGO's new Speed Champions sets, featuring a McLaren P1, Ferrari LaFerrari, and Porsche 918 seen in the intro and in the studio. The sets hit store shelves later this spring and also include a pair of Porsche GT3 racers, McLaren and Ferrari F1 cars, and a Ferrari 458 Italia GT2.
Sadly absent from that prestigious group is Top Gear's own hypercar, the epic Hammerhead Eagle i-Thrust. If any car were made especially for the LEGO treatment...it's that one. And with that – back to the studio.
