Watch Aussies Break a World Record For Simultaneous Burnouts
When you think of American car culture, one normally thinks about muscle cars leaving huge plumes of smoke in their wake. See: the Dodge Hellcat's entire ad campaign. Well, leave it to the Australians to do the most American thing on the planet, but with more flavor. On Jan. 1, Australia went for the Guinness World Record for the most simultaneous burnouts ever. You can only imagine what the air must have smelled and tasted like, or how this all sounded. The video doesn't do it justice. Either it was completely epic being in the crowd or inhaling all that tire smoke almost killed you. Either way, it's definitely a sight to see - and a world record.
Congrats, Aussies! Now let's see if we can show them how 'Muricans do it.
