Could EcoBeast Be Ford’s Version of Hellcat?
Hellcat, eat your heart out. Ford just filed a patent to trademark the EcoBeast moniker, which sounds to us like an all-powerful, turbocharged version of the standard EcoBoost engine. The patent was filed back on the 22nd of December under Goods and Services for Automobiles and Automobile engines. Meaning it’s probably going to fit under the hood of a few very fast vehicles. The Detroit Auto Show is happening next month. With an expected barrage of cars from the new Ford Raptor to a Ford GT, the EcoBeast could nudge its way into one of those. Rumor has it, though, we'll see it under the hood of the Raptor. We’ll have to wait and see.
