Check Out the World's Largest Scale Model Mustang Collection

It all started with a Ford Mustang model that Adelbert Engler bought for only 50 cents when he was a kid. That little model spoke to him and he's now turned that into the world's largest scale model collection of Ford Mustangs in the world. Adelbert, who owns a restoration and repair shop in Heusden-Zolder, Belgium, has over 5,500 models that he's managed to collect over the course of the last 40 years. There are some full-size, real cars in his collection, but most of it is in the form of models that fill a display case that runs over 80 feet long. There are small, Matchbox-size Mustangs, bottles of alcohol shaped like Mustangs, and even some rare models that took him years to finally acquire. His most rare models are two Edelbrock models from sisters Camee and Christy Edelbrock. It took him eight years to get those into his collection. He's not done yet, either, with Auto Evolution reporting that he has new packages of models arriving every few weeks. They're all on display in a garage he specially built about three years ago solely to house his growing collection. RELATED: See the 2015 Ford Mustang GT
