Jaguar Makes Destroying an F-Type Look Cool
Here’s a question. At what point does ‘cool’ become ‘cruel’? Most of us could watch plebian hatchbacks or bargain-basement people carriers being crash tested all day – it’s just cool. But fling a top-dollar exotic towards the wall at 40mph, and our heart strings begin to indicate otherwise. Jaguar however doesn’t abide by that logic. In its latest ad, the Brits launched a 2015 Jaguar F-Type convertible at the wall – a car that in the least has 340-horsepower and goes for around $69,000. Nicholas Hoult cameos once again as Jaguar’s evil genius, personifying the brand’s catchy “It’s Good to Be Bad” campaign. Luckily – for new F-Type drivers, that is – the powerful roadster’s performance in the crash appears to be anything but bad.
So don your spectacles, put on a vest, and show a little bit more sock – it’s time to get sinister.
