World’s Most Expensive Tesla Model S Expected in LA
Peruse the Internet and you’ll find the Tesla Model S is a fine and well-respected car. It’s svelte looks, impressive efficiency, and sporty driving dynamics earn it high marks from some big names in the biz. But one company wants to make the Model S even finer and a lot more expensive. Judging by the company's suggested price tag of over $200,000 … it’ll have to be quite the piece of engineering. That company is T Sportline, which bills itself as ‘The World’s First Tesla Tuner’, RELATED: Check out T Sportline's new 2014 'Electric Battleship' Tesla Model S
Based in Los Angeles, T Sportline has a bulls eye on providing Tesla customers a range of visual accessories to doll-up or dress down their beloved electric vehicles. So far, the team’s attractive custom wheels, carbon fiber aero packages, and interior elements all fit the bill as well, as seen here with the pictured Yin vs Yang edition.
But for the Model S driver effectively looking to double the cost of a new 691-horsepower P85D Performance model ($104,000) or triple the retail on their 380 horsepower base Model S ($69,900), they’re going to want a whole lot more than flashy wheels and carbon fiber bits. Especially considering widely known competitors like the Saleen FourSixteen will retail in the $150,000 range.

That isn’t to say T Sportline can’t deliver though. The Tesla tuner is pegged to unveil its $200,000 Model S offering at the LA Auto Show on Nov. 18. Any predictions, Internet?
