If you’ve been hunting for that truly one-off hypercar experience ... stop searching. We’ve found it for sale in Germany. This is the talked-about-in-whispers Koenigsegg CCR Evolution – a car that came from Christian von Koenigsegg’s factory already properly fast, but was subsequently fettled with by Edo Competition to make it even raunchier. And if you want to make it yours, head to Amian Cars and be prepared to spend liberally (price available on request). RELATED: See what the original 2004 Koenigsegg CRR looked like

In 2011, Edo took this CCR in question, one of only 14 examples built, and proceeded to put their unique touch to it. Edo started by tweaking the car’s ECU to boost power, up from 806 horsepower to 891, and shifted its torque to lower in the rev range. Edo then disassembled the Koenigsegg’s six-speed Cima gearbox, replaced bushings, and dropped the final drive ratio. Mechanical upgrades in tow, the CCR Evolution’s supercharged 4.7-liter V8 rockets the Koenigsegg to 60 mph in under 3.2 seconds, up to 120 mph in 9.7 seconds, and through 180 mph in only 23 seconds. Quick, no? Edo continued its show of speed with styling upgrades to bring the mid-2000s Koenigsegg into the year 2011. The firm slotted a new set of alloy wheels underneath along with a new grey paint job across the skin and CCX-inspired body mods. Inside, the Koenigsegg was treated to a splash of alcantara and a new center console. The ‘want’ is strong with this one.
