440HP Radical SR8 RSX Track Car Lives Up to its Name

Yo dude, this car is totally Radical, for lack of a better word. Radical, the British manufacturer of some of the best damn track cars in the world, has just unveiled its most epic weekend racer to date. It’s called the SR8 RSX, and it’s quick. With a 3.0-liter V8 under the hood and a seven-speed sequential gearbox at your fingertips, you’ll be able to get to 60 mph in under 3.0 seconds. That’s in thanks to 440-horsepower and some super sticky Dunlop SP Sport tires. PHOTOS: See More of the 2015 Radical SR8 RSX Track Car

Like its Radical siblings before it, the SR8 puts to use an open cockpit design with HANS-compatible, water-resistant bucket seats, an AIM MXG data logger, a seven-inch TFT display and even onboard wifi. But not even all this new tech keeps the featherlight racer from weighing over 1,900 pounds. You are going to have to pay for it, though. In the UK, the SR8 starts at 109,950 (approx. $175,000) and will officially go on sale in January. VIDEO: Watch the Radical RXC Track Car Take to the Streets
