Fiat's FCC4 Concept is Lovably Weird
If every concept car ever conceived were granted a production run, our roadways would be filled with a mish mash of unfinished fantasies rolling around on massive wheels. Thankfully, most aren’t. However, Fiat’s latest concept car, which strides a fine line between today’s concepts and tomorrow’s cars, is one that at least makes a case for its production-readiness. It’s called the FCC4. Unveiled today at the Sao Paulo Motor Show in Brazil, Fiat’s FCC4 (Fiat Concept Car 4) melds the world’s of crossover vehicles, sedans, and pickup trucks together into one off-roady sport ute, and happily it appears to have the good parts of each.
The FCC4 boasts high ground clearance, a swoopy four-door body, and a quirky rear fastback hatch, all in the size of a CUV. Stylistically, it isn’t what you’d call a minger either. The proportions have an air of Range Rover Evoque to them and the front headlights and taillights give a nice nod across the Fiat Chrysler range to the new Jeep Cherokee. It even looks like it could handle some off-road ventures.

Though despite its four doors and claimed sumptuous sedan dimensions, back seat seating might be best left for children or people without heads. Sadly, Fiat hasn’t included any powertrain or performance specs to go off of, so your guess is as good as ours.
What do you think Internet? Would you go for a ride in the FCC4?
