The Lamborghini Huracan is Selling Like Hotcakes
Lamborghini knew that it had big shoes to fill when it announced it would be replacing the best-selling Gallardo. Then along came the Huracan. While there are still some mixed feelings on the softer Lambo, one new piece of information should put all the haters in their place– they are selling a bunch of these things. In just 10 months, Lamborghini has taken orders for 3,000 units, which averages out to 300 cars per month. For comparison, Lamborghini sold 14,022 units of its best-selling Gallardo in a little under 10 years, an average of about 116 per month. Granted, it’s still very early in the life cycle, but as it sits, the Huracan is well on pace to overtake the Gallardo as Lamborghini’s best-selling vehicle. One thousand of those Huracan’s were ordered here in the U.S. Don’t forget, the Huracan comes with a 610-horsepower V10 and gets to 60 mph in just 3.2 seconds. And we’re sure an even hotter version is on the way soon, which should just pile on to this sales onslaught.
