Supercharged SEMA Mustang Puts Out Gobs of Power
When you build superchargers, obviously you've got to bring something cool to SEMA. So Vortech is shoving one of their go-fast kits in an all-new Mustang, and it’s probably going to be even more amazing in person than it looks here. The first thing you'll notice is how orange it is. Because it’s very orange. Dubbed “Competition Orange,” it wears the color well and matches with black wheels, orange accents and orange brake calipers. Orange for days. Other changes will include a carbon fiber front lip, the aforementioned 20-inch wheels, a coilover suspension and Magnaflow exhaust for good measure. But that’s not even the best part.
The 5.0-liter V8 is supercharged (obviously) and puts out 640 horsepower. But if you have a death wish, Vortech says the engine can be tuned all the way up to 1,200 horsepower. It’s insane and beautiful and you can see it in person at the SEMA show in Vegas starting November 4th.
