That One Time a Boob Job Saved a Woman's Life In a Crash

Women get boob jobs for all sorts of reasons, but one that likely isn't on the list is for supplemental airbag protection in a car accident. That may change now that one woman's boobs acted as impromptu airbags and helped prevent her from being injured during a serious crash. That woman was 24-year-old Elena Marinova of Rousse, Bulgaria who decided that what she was born with just wasn't enough. According to Cracked, she found a doctor willing to give her a boob job that took her up to a whopping 40DD. Yes, I know, all the guys are trying to imagine just what that'd look like in a bikini. But as a woman, I'm trying to figure out how she managed to still walk upright. One day Elena is driving along - which makes me wonder how she can fit behind the steering wheel and still reach it - and she's involved in a head-on crash with another vehicle. Both cars are completely totaled and the driver of the other car is seriously injured and taken to the hospital. Elena, however, walks away from the accident mostly unscathed thanks to her ample implants. RELATED: See Photos of the Alfa Romeo 6C Concept

Cars in Bulgaria apparently don't have airbags which is part of why the other driver sustained such serious injuries. Elena's built-in airbags did the job, absorbing the brunt of the crash and protecting her internal organs during the impact. Her boobs didn't fare as well as the rest of her and actually exploded, which frankly couldn't have been comfortable, but they left her in better shape she'd have been in without all that silicone. So, to anyone debating the pros and cons of getting a boob job, you now have one more item to add to the pro column.
