Slick 2002 Lincoln Continental Concept Is Going Up For Auction
There are concepts that look so crazy you could never imagine seeing them on the road and then there are concepts that look so slick you wonder how in the world they were never produced. This 2002 Lincoln Continental falls firmly into the latter category and now it can be yours through an upcoming auction. The Continental is one of 130 cars from the Sam Pack Collection that will be sold at an RM Auctions event running Nov. 14 and 15 in Dallas, Texas. It's not street legal, but its looks alone make it something any collector would love to have in their garage. PHOTOS: Look at This Stunning 1963 Lincoln Continental Convertible
It boasts some cool details like suicide doors and an electrically operated trunk that houses three storage drawers and a set of Zero Halliburton luggage. What's under the hood is no less impressive.
This Continental has a 6-liter V12 engine with 414 horsepower and 412 pound-feet of torque with a 6-speed automatic transmission. Those numbers might not be that amazing in 2014, but remember, this car was built back in 2002.

Getting into this car might cost you less than you'd expect. It was last up for auction back in 2010 and sold for $56,100, so it's a fair bet the price hasn't changed significantly in the last four years. Just remember, you can't register and actually drive it on public roads, so be prepared to have it just sitting there looking pretty.
