Infiniti Is Building a Juke-Based SUV of Its Own
For most people, when it comes to the Nissan Juke’s quirky styling, it’s either love it or leave it. But even with that mentality, the Juke is still proving to be one of the better selling Nissan vehicles of recent history. So much so in fact, that Infiniti decided that they want one too. Thanks to a few teaser shots from China’s Autohome, the Infiniti ESQ will be that new SUV. Like the Juke, the ESQ sports some creative front end cues including the dual headlight feature found on the Juke, albeit with a more “luxurious” feel. The grille is newer, the wheels are bigger and shinier, and the interior is nearly identical to the current Juke, but rather, Infiniti badges are affixed.
When it’s all said and done, the ESQ is likely going to be a strange mish mash of Nissan Juke parts, with Infiniti features, headed for the Chinese market. The car should make its full debut sometime in the next few days.
