Duke Boys Go Car Shopping in an AutoTrader Commercial [Video]

It has been 30 years since The Dukes of Hazzard went off the air, but it appears that the Duke boys are still tearing up Hazzard County in the General Lee. Sadly, the 1969 Dodge Charger just isn’t cutting it as the cousins try to avoid local police, so they’re finally looking to trade the old Charger in for something newer and faster. This entertaining AutoTrader commercial is a comical mix of classic Dukes of Hazzard stunts and modern cracks at the show – especially when it comes to new cars having doors that open. John Schneider and Tom Wopat reprise their roles as Bo and Luke Duke, and the video even has a remake of Waylon Jennings’ classic “The Good Ol’ Boys.”

Fittingly, Bo and Luke end up driving off the lot in a brand new SRT Viper TA with its Crusher Orange paint job that just happens to be similar color as their beloved General Lee. They even kept the “01” door stickers!
