If Lamborghini Made Boats... Well You Get The Idea

If you’re super-rich, buying a Lamborghini Aventador might just be the perfect reward for a lifetime of accomplishments. But if you’re super-super-rich, like Miami restaurant tycoon Gino Gargiulo, suddenly the Aventador doesn’t go far enough. Which is why Gargiulo commissioned this $1.1 million Lamborghini-inspired speedboat to accompany his beloved $750,000 Aventador LP720-4 Roadster. The boat sports massive side-mounted air scoops and follows the unmistakable haunches of the car that inspired its shape. Its $400,000 powertrain, a pair of Mercury Racing 1350 engines, offers supercar-like performance too, capable of rocketing the Raging Bull up to a top speed of 186mph, allegedly. Oddly enough, this isn’t the first time he’s done this. Back in 2007, Gargiulo ordered a Mercedes-inspired speedboat. Is it a bit over-the-top? Yes, absolutely, but Gargiulo isn’t exactly your everyday character.
