2014 New York Auto Show: What to Expect
While it may not carry the same weight at Detroit or LA, the New York Auto Show ranks as one of the biggest auto shows of the year. In the past two years, we’ve seen big hitters like the SRT Viper, Chevrolet Camaro Z/28, and a few others make their world debut in the Big Apple. But this year, it promises to be as exciting, and as eye-catching as any other year. Here’s what you can expect when the show opens its doors to the press on Wednesday: BMW M4 Convertible
Just in time for spring, BMW is dropping its top with a high-powered coupe that should leave enthusiasts drooling. The M4 convertible features some stunning lines, an electronically foldable hard top, and a 325-horsepower, twin-turbo inline-six.

Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Convertible
Like the M4 convertible, the Corvette Z06 is also going topless to New York. This is the first convertible Z06 Chevrolet has built in over 50 years, and it features a 625-horsepower supercharged V8 engine — making it also the fastest convertible Chevy has ever built.

Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD High Country
Chevy’s big and bold Silverado HD High Country will make its way to New York with a 6.0-liter V8 and a 6.6-liter turbo diesel. Not to mention some rugged good looks.

Aging as gracefully as two heavyweight muscle cars can age, the Dodge Charger and Dodge Challenger are both getting a makeover when they take to the show floor in New York. Details on either of these projects are still mum.
Ford Mustang 50th Anniversary
The 2015 Ford Mustang is one of the biggest reveals of the year, and for New York, Ford is planning to honor 50 years of the beloved pony car. We can’t wait to see what it is.

Porsche Cayman and Boxster GTS
Both the Porsche Cayman and Boxster GTS are making their world debuts in New York. The Cayman will come loaded with 340 horsepower, while the Boxster meanwhile will sport 330 horsepower.

Ram 2500 Power Wagon
Like Chevy’s Silverado High Country, Ram is releasing a power-packed pickup of their own. The Ram 2500 Power Wagon features a 6.4-liter V8 HEMI and 410 horsepower.
