Chevy SS Pace Car Catches Flames During NASCAR Race [video]

There’s a lot of cars this week that are really getting hot. And not in the good way. First it was another Tesla Model S, and now an all-new Chevrolet SS sedan is catching flames. This time, the world was there to see it firsthand. At a recent NASCAR Sprint Unlimited “preseason” race, you could call it, the Chevrolet SS had to be pulled from the track after smoke and flames began spewing out the back. As the announcer points out, it was a “caution for the caution car.” Thankfully neither the driver nor the passenger were injured, but we’re sure some of Chevy’s ego was a wee bit.
