National Corvette Museum Swallowed Up by Sinkhole, 8 Cars Damaged

At the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky, a sinkhole swallowed up 8 Corvettes from various time periods. Reports say the hole began at 5:40AM this morning, setting off an alarm to call the fire department. The sinkhole centered around the Sky Dome area of the museum (built in 1994), and expanded to 40 feet wide and 20-30 feet deep. As of now, the museum remains open, with the Sky Dome area closed to the general public.

So far the museum and officials are still gathering information, but word is, no bystanders were hurt.
