Study: Men Who Drive Minivans Less Attractive than UPS Guy

Unfortunately as a society, many of us are bound to judge the attractiveness of one another based on the type of car that we drive (see: Our presumption of 50-year-old guys who drive Ferraris and their potentially dwindling libidos). But which type of car will draw a women and which will scare her off? Apparently we have some empirical answers. In a recent study done by Kiplinger, in a survey of 2,000 men and women, they found some pretty interesting results. The first show the types of cars attractive men drive: Pickup Trucks: 32% Sportscars: 27% SUVs: 16% Hybrid/Electric: 9% UPS Truck: 4% Minivans: 2% Mail Truck: 1% So, all you big pickup drivers are definitely gettin’ some love — dudes in minivans meanwhile, not so much. And brands like Ford (16%), Chevrolet (13%) and Porsche (11%), were the most attractive brands men drove. PHOTOS: See More of the 2011 Toyota Sienna

But what does it look like the other way around? In a survey of men, they ranked the cars attractive women drive: Sportscars: 39% Sedans: 22% SUVs: 20% Pickup Trucks: 10% Hybrid/electric: 6% Minivans: 4% Again, the minivan is near or at the bottom of the list, but this time, sportscars are at the top of the list. So what have we learned other than the fact that we’re all shallow? Don’t drive a minivan. RELATED: Someone Bought a Nissan Versa Note on Amazon
