Auction Ride of the Week: Jurassic Park’s Mobile Lab RV
In our endless search for auction vehicles, we typically try to report on cars at the end of the week that still have a lot of time on the clock. But we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to show you this — it’s one of the actual RV’s used in the 1997 film Jurassic Park: The Lost World. How frickin’ cool is that? Following in the success of the first Jurassic Park film, The Lost World sought to bring the fear of these dinosaurs a little closer to home. And while it may not have been as critically acclaimed as the first film, it was still pretty kick-ass.
One of the main set-pieces of the film was this mobile lab RV. Put to use by Jeff Goldblum and Julianne Moore’s characters, it was the team's mobile command center while on the Jurassic Park Site B island. We think you know where the film goes from there.
Now, you can own your very own piece of movie memorabilia for a starting bid of $7,100 (as of Jan. 26). But we don't expect it to stay that low.

The seller says that the RV could be “an amazing restoration project,” but keeping in line with the film’s outline, we think we’d like to keep it as is. So, if you’re in the LA area and looking for one sweet movie prop, head on over to the auction and check it out — here.
P.S., they’re even selling the Velociraptor cage crate in another auction — which you can see here. Warning: Velociraptor eggs will not hatch into Ford F-150 Raptor pickups.
