New Lexus F Model Headed for Detroit, Likely RC F Coupe
If you thought the new Lexus RC coupe was going to be cool, prepare yourself for a whole new level of fun and performance. This is (probably) the first look of the hopped-up RC F coupe– the two-door successor to the now-extinct Lexus IS F. Naturally, this is just a snippet of what we can expect when the new F model goes on display in Detroit. From what we can see, it's bound to come with new wheels, new aerodynamics, and is apparently going to be a "bold, gritty, experience." We like the sound of that.
Rumor has it that the new coupe will feature a either a twin-turbocharged V6 or likely to keep a V8– following in the footsteps of the IS F. Horsepower should be in the neighborhood of 450 considering the M4's power figures reach just beyond that.
At any rate, we'll see what Lexus has in store when its new F model hits the stage at the Detroit Auto Show later in January.
