2016 Nissan GT-R Gets Sharp New Rendering
It's been a long time coming for a fresh new Nissan GT-R, but for now, details on Nissan's newest supercar are scarce at best. Rumors suggest a hybrid with 600 horsepower arriving in 2017 — at least, that's what we're led to believe. Up until now, we haven't had any sort of idea as to what the new GT-R could look like. That's where the crew over at TopSpeed comes in, giving us their futuristic take on the 2016 Nissan GT-R.
Like the Godzilla monster we've all come to know and love, the 2016 concept still sports many familiar lines on the roof and sides. But in the front and rear, sharp new headlights and taillights give way to a slimmer and sleeker overall appearance. What designers are calling an "evolution" rather than a "revolution."
Of course, we won't know anything for sure until Nissan drops the details on its new and improved GT-R hopefully in the near future. But this concept gives us a closer look at what we can expect in Godzilla's evolution.
