Chevy Trailblazer Might be Headed Back Stateside

Ah, the Chevy Trailblazer: Considered a classic for many in the realm of American SUVs. Unfortunately when it left the market only four years ago (2009), it was a bittersweet goodbye, as it saw a much-needed overhaul overseas. But Trailblazer enthusiasts, you could be in luck. Rumor has it that the SUV might make a comeback in the American market- sporting its handsome new look. An industry source told Edmunds that GM is planning on a re-launch sometime next year.

At the same time though, Chevrolet spokesman Mike Albano dismissed the rumors and said that they were more than happy with the success of the Equinox, Traverse and Tahoe. Another SUV, they fear, might oversaturate the market. While we believe a traditional body-on-frame SUV paired to a signature nameplate would appeal to many enthusiasts here in the states, Chevy does make a valid point.
