Aston Martin, Zagato Team Up For Jaw-Dropping Centennial Coupe
The Aston Martin DBS is a breathtaking supercar– one that will cause heads to turn no matter where it goes. What could possibly ratchet up the awesome? Why, crafting a one-of-a-kind design study, using the DBS as a base, of course! It is called the Aston Martin DBS Coupe Zagato Centennial, and it is the definition of rolling work of art. Two special Zagato Astons are being commissioned. A coupe version is being built for an unnamed Japanese entrepreneur, while a drop-top version is being created for Peter Read, a collector of the British supercar maker.
According to Aston Martin, the designs are meant to blend old and new, pulling heavily from the 1950’s European touring styles. The ‘double-bubble’ roof design is very 50’s motorsport, while the grille and headlight combination ooze of classic motoring style.
We can’t wait for these two incredible Aston Martins to come to fruition.
