RON Automoviles Pulls the Sheets off RXX Track Special
Our neighbors to the South have been on quite the upswing lately when it comes to automotive endeavors. Beginning in 2008 with the Mastretta MXT, and only a few weeks ago we saw the VUHL 05. Now, we get word of Mexico's latest project- the RON Automoviles' RXX track car, and it's a thing of beauty. Taking note from a few classic track cars, the RXX is an edgier variant of the Ariel Atom, with a hint of British design from racing cars of past. The tandem two-seat layout dishes out a streamlined set of body angles and an aggressive front fascia.
Available in three different forms- the RXX, RXX-S and RXX-R, RON says that each will come with a varying set of powertrains and aesthetic features. Although no official figures have been given.
No word yet on just when the RXX will take to the streets, but we'll keep you up to date with any news regarding the RON's F1 car for the masses.
