Lexus IS F Sport is All "Show", No "Go"

So you have an adequately powered Japanese luxury sedan, like the Lexus IS and want to give it a little kick? There are a few routes you could go down. You could have the engine tuned, you could upgrade to a more powerful version (like the IS F), or you could keep that car the way it is and pick up a beater to hoon around in on the weekend. All are valid, but the route that Lexus would like you to take is a bit more disappointing  Enter, the Lexus IS F Sport. Note, this does not have the V8 powerplant from the IS F. Rather it is a sad little show-pony. Allow us to explain. Because people love their cars to look faster than they actually can go, we have this "performance and styling" kit from TRD. This package puts the emphasis on the "styling," with an updated front aero kit and side skirts, an agressive rear diffuser, and rear deck-lid spoiler. The exterior features also include split dual exhaust and 19-inch wheels.

There are no– I repeat, no– changes to the powertrains. IS 250 and IS 350, still put out 207 and 306 horsepower, respectively. There are additional suspension components, including springs, dampers, and added sway control bars. This package is currently only available in Japan, and if you want more show with no extra "go," this package will set buyers back €9,500 ($12,180). Yelch.
