1973 Pontiac Grand Am Silver Anniversary Headed Under the Hammer

Our friends at Mecum sure know how to hold an auction. From LA to Chicago to Kansas City- some of the most stunning cars have crossed the block. This year is no exception; a classic 1973 Pontiac Grand Am Silver Anniversary is going under the hammer at the upcoming Kansas City, Missouri auction. The '73 Grand Am Siler Anniversary was a bit of a wild horse. Only nine are known to exist, and all are being delivered to NASCAR officials in honor of their 25th anniversary celebration as the official pace car.

The car in question, slated for duty at the North Wilkesboro race on September 23rd, 1973, comes with air conditioning, power disc brakes, a custom suspension, low mileage and a state of Florida (Daytona Beach to be more exact) proof of ownership when new. Mecum hasn't given an estimate as to how much the Grand Am is expected to fetch, but if your headed to Kansas City April 25-27th, know to bring some Benjamin's with you.
