Henrik Fisker Resigns From Fisker Automotive
Up and coming Fisker Automotive seemed like it was on the fast track to become the world's next great green automotive movement behind the mind of ambitious co-founder Henrik Fisker. Well, so much for that pipe dream.
As the company took a turn for the worst in early 2012 citing financial issues and lack of vehicle development, it now seems as the company's leader has given up on it for good, as he announced his resignation.
In a new report by Autocar, the official word on the issue is:
"Effective as of Wednesday 13 March 2013, Henrik Fisker has resigned from Fisker Automotive as executive chairman, and has left the company. The main reasons for his resignation are several major disagreements that Henrik Fisker has with the Fisker Automotive executive management on the business strategy."
So far details are still unclear as to what kind of "major disagreements" warranted the CEO's departure. We should hear more details from Fisker Automotive or Henrik himself in the coming hours/days.
