Psyche, U.S. Might Get 4-Pot Mustang After All
Well, if you were confused already about what was happening with the 2015 Ford Mustang, prepare to be even more so now. After initial reports of the 4-pot pony heading to Europe only, new Road and Track reports claim that those 'facts' were flat out "incorrect". R/T states that not only will we be getting a four-cylinder Mustang, but the 3.7L 305-hp V6 will remain as the base engine, while the 2.3L 4-cylinder EcoBoost will be placed as a mid-range model (that's right, between the V6 and 5.0) producing somewhere in the neighborhood of 350-hp. Confused yet? Good. We're not exactly sure what to believe, but expect all this Mustang confusion to end sooner than later as the new model is slated to roll out sometime in 2014.
