Mercedes-Benz SLS Shooting Brake is Straight Fire

Overall, we think the world would just be a better place with more wagons. They're spacious, they're adorable and lately, they've sort of grown to become more of an automotive faux pas than anything. But we love them, especially when they're molded onto the backsides of high end sportscars. Like this- the Mercedes-Benz SLS Shooting Brake. The wagon you totally want in your driveway right now. You can thank our friends at Car Throttle for this bit of wagon pornography.

Mercedes-Benz SLS Shooting Brake is Straight Fire

Taking a standard Mercedes-Benz SLS supercar, the concept was stretched and given an extra set of seats in the rear. The engine bay is home to a standard 6.2L V8 and 583-hp, which is more than suitable for all sorts of wagon hoonage. We don't expect Mercedes to be sketching up an SLS Shooting Brake anytime soon, but as we recently saw with the Aston-based Bertone Jet 2+2 sportwagon, blank checks speak wonders...
