Your Ride: 2012 Jeep Wrangler Sport

Aside from all the Ford Mustangs and Chevrolet Camaros of the world, another American classic, Jeep, has been around satisfying our mud-drenched needs since 1941. Models like the Grand Cherokee, the Wagoneer and of course, the Wrangler, all became instant classics to off- and on-road enthusiasts throughout the country, and soon the world. One of our readers Steve, wanted to share with us his brand new all black Jeep Wrangler Sport; and she's a beaut. With the signature open top, a sweet new set of details and not enough mud to account for, this brand new girl still has a bit of breaking in to do, but we'll let Steve tell you about his new baby himself.

BoldRide: How did you acquire your ride? Steve: I've always wanted a Wrangler. So when I found out about the new 2012s with the 3.6 pentastar I knew it was the right time to get one. So I went down to the dealership and picked one up on the spot. What drew you to it when you bought it? Again, new for 2012, the Wranglers come with the brand new Pentastar 3.6. Considered by most the best V6 on the market right now. Improved fuel economy and more horsepower, what's not to love? Aside from the engine, I just love the rugged look of the Wrangler. It's unlike anything else on the road and always seems to turn heads when I'm driving it down the road.

Does it have a name? Not yet, she's brand new. Any suggestions? What do you feel like when you drive it? I feel like if someone tried to follow me they wouldn't make it very far. What you would change about your car, if anything? Being an automotive enthusiast, I'm always looking for add-ons and mods to beef it up.

What have you done to make it a bolder ride? Blacked out all the windows, added LED lighting, new rear steel bumper with kawasaki green D rings, rock sliders and a bunch of other small add-ons. Dream accessory for it and why? I wouldn't say there is one particular accessory because when working on a car, there are always things you're looking to add to improve it, whether it's for performance or personal style. Next for me would probably be a new front bumper with a winch and a lift kit. Lockers would be after that.  Thanks to Steve for letting us share his awesome ride! Want us to feature your ride?
