VL Automotive V8-Powered Fisker Karma as Amazing as it Sounds

Former-GM-important-person Bob Lutz has been relatively quiet since his departure from the massive American automaker. With his return, there's no better way to tell someone to go shove it than sticking the V8 from a Corvette into a previously-electric Fisker Karma. Take that, environment. All this crazy is just the first step in Lutz's latest project; VL Automotive. Seen here, the Destino is a highly modified former shell of the Fisker Karma, complete with the aforementioned 638-hp Corvette LS1 V8.

As of now, Lutz says that the Destino will be available in limited numbers on a "first come, first serve basis," with the availability of customizing both the interior, and exterior of the vehicle. Manufactured in Auburn Hills, Michigan- Lutz, giving a nod to his former employers- says that the Destino will be on sale by the second half of 2013.
