9. Mercedes-Benz Ener-G-Force C0ncept Recently, at the 2012 LA Auto Show, German automaker Mercedes-Benz did something very un-Mercedes-esque; they released one of their most radical and questionable concepts to date, the Ener-G-Force SUV concept. Based off the current G-Wagon, the Ener-G-Force was more than just an extreme approach to the current G-Wagon, the concept previewed what Mercedes-Benz called their "environmentally friendly SUV." Through the use of a hydrogen fuel cell, Mercedes-Benz claims that this eco-suv is the first of its kind and that this radical designed also previewed the "Highway Patrol Vehicle 2025." http://youtu.be/DDf1S1-WTk4 While we don't expect to see the Ener-G-Force in the showroom of any prim and proper Mercedes-Benz dealership anytime soon, this extreme concept study was one of ours- and everyone else's favorite cars of the year.
