5 SUV Rides That Are Fabulously Over the Top

While this past weekend we saw the big kahuna of all car shows take place at the infamous Pebble Beach in Monterey, we couldn't help but wonder where all the love for the over the top SUV buyer was? Sure, million dollar supercars and hypercars are the coolest of all cool, but when it comes to the luxury SUV market, we wanted to take a look at some of our favorite six digit mommy-mobiles.

Lamborghini Urus

5 SUV Rides That Are Fabulously Over the Top

The Lamborghini Urus is the king of all high-end SUV's. Complete with stunning good looks and what we assume to be a Lamborghini Gallardo V10 dishing out  600 hp. Sometime in the near future, this Porsche Cayenne based SUV (which we'll get to in a minute) is expected to be one of the most sought after SUV's in the market when it goes into production for the 2015 model year.

Porsche Cayenne GTS

5 SUV Rides That Are Fabulously Over the Top

The original version of the Porsche Cayenne began production late in 2002. Although it caused the initial 'WTF' by onlookers and Porsche-files alike, massive sales numbers translated into a huge success for the Cayenne, causing competition to run back to their drawing boards for an SUV of their own. The high-spec GTS comes with a 4.8L V8, 420 hp and a not so thrifty price tag of around $82,000. With those $82K, you get a 0-60 mph of 5.4 seconds, a top speed of 162 mph and room for three frightened children in the back seat.

Eterniti Artemis

Officially, the "worlds first super-SUV," the relatively unknown British built Eterniti Artemis is essentially just a Porsche Cayenne in drag. Dolled up with a similar design and an identical platform, one might argue "Why buy an Artemis over a Cayenne?" Because race car. The Artemis comes with the same 4.8L V8 from the Cayenne, but Eterniti managed to squeeze out 170 extra horses over the GTS, placing the overall horsepower at 591. Sprint time sits at an impressive 4.5 seconds, nearly a second faster than the Cayenne. Price for all this SUV sits at an equally monstrous $338,600.

Nissan Juke-R

Nissan, a company known mainly for their detail on every aspect of their world renowned GT-R supercar, went off and got a little weird on us. The Nissan Juke-R is a Frankenstein's monster in the automotive world. Taking bits and pieces from both the GT-R and standard Juke, Nissan managed to pull 545 hp out of the 3.8L V6, and race it against the likes of six-digit supercars. To top it all off, they gave it a sinister flat black guise.

Bentley EXP 9 F

We've played this game before, the either "love it" or mostly "hate it" styling of the Bentley EXp 9 F. This funky looking luxury-SUV made its debut at the 2012 Geneva Auto Show and Bentley never looked back. Under the hood, the EXP is expected to come with either a 4.oL V8 or the possible 6.0L W12 and will be good for 500-600 hp. Price for all this luxury has yet to be determined, but like all Bentley's, should cost a pretty penny.
