Video: The Vision Behind the Bugatti Veyron L' Or Blanc

Ettore Bugatti’s vision was the fusion of art and the automobile. To emphasize the level of artistry infused in Bugatti’s Veyron L’Or Blanc, the company has released a short documentary video detailing the story of its creation. The video highlights the innovative use of porcelain in the design of this one-of-a-kind $2.5 million supercar. The unique blue and white marbled exterior of the L'Or Blanc is hand-painted by German porcelain artisans of Königliche Porzellan-Manufatur Berlin (KPM). In addition, many of the finer details like the wheel center caps, fuel filler cap and interior trim pieces are created by the unique patterns and techniques of KPM. While the car has already been sold, this exciting collaboration between Bugatti and KPM is just beginning – future models adorned with porcelain detailing are already in the works, including one already unveiled at this year’s Beijing Auto Show.
