Unless we are very much mistaken, that is a BMW X6 prototype featuring some classic M Division styling. It has been well documented that BMW will not badge any of its X-series cars will “M”, so shall we call this the BMW X6 Power Junky Special Edition in the meantime? Ok, so maybe X6 M is easier?
The biggest give-away on this vehicle is the quad exhaust pipes poking out the rear end of the vehicle and that certainly looks like a more aggressive stance hiding beneath the rather useless black clad camoflage. Any way we look at it, we can now confirm a new top-spec version of the X6 is coming and we suspect it is going to be powered by a tuned version of the 4.4-liter V8 engine, the same power unit that the new high-spec X5 is set to receive. There are also rumours of the M5's 507hp V10 engine making its way to the X-series
