Will go under the hammer on August 16.

A mint example of Ferrari’s flagship LaFerrari supercar will be auctioned at the Monterey 2016 event, held by Mecum Auctions.

We don’t have to explain why the first hybrid model from the Italian brand is really special, but we’ll just mention that this one is even more exclusive. It is one of only three LaFerraris finished in Nero DS Opaco matte black paint and wears a small metal label at the base of the steering wheel that says “Cavallo Infernale,” which translates into “infernal horse” or “horse from hell.”

This exact LaFerrari has only 211 miles (340 kilometers) on the clock and comes with impressive Pirelli P-Zero tires on 19-inch front and 20-inch rear alloys, hiding Brembo ceramic brakes.

Described as a “gigantic leap forward from the Enzo it replaces,” the car has all the F1-inspired technologies that made the LaFerrari famous when it debuted back in 2013. These include the HY-KERS Kinetic Energy Recovery System, the seven-speed dual clutch automatic gearbox, and the F1 electronic traction control integrated within the hybrid system.

Power comes from a hybrid system that combines the work of a 6.3-liter V12 petrol engine and an electric motor for a combined output of 949 horsepower (698 kilowatts). We won’t go deep into the numbers, but will just mention the claimed 0-62 miles per hour (0-100 kilometers per hour) acceleration time of 2.4 seconds. Enough said.
