Upgrade costs $2,693.
Designed to fit models equipped with the D5 diesel engine, the e.motion module enables the cars to produce 258 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque. This represents a modest increase of 23 hp and 29 lb-ft of torque. Heico Sportiv declined to say how much faster the cars are but noted drivers can expect to find "perceptible power development at medium and high engine speeds."
The tuning package costs $2,693 (€2,425) and can be quickly installed at an authorized Volvo dealership that is a Heico Sportiv service partner. The company went on to say the tuning program doesn't impact emissions or service internals and comes with a warranty that lasts five years or 93,205 miles (150,000 kilometers).
In the future, Heico Sportiv will offer an assortment of performance packages for models equipped with the D4, T5, T6, and T8 engines. Besides the performance tweaks, the company will offer a sport exhaust system, velour floor mats, and 20-inch alloy wheels. Customers can also order an upgraded interior with premium leather upholstery that is made in Austria.
