Italian company's Evantra Millecavalli makes public debut in Turin.

After making its online debut in late May, the “most powerful street-legal hypercar ever built in Italy,” as billed by Mazzanti, is making its official public premiere. The Evantra Millecavalli is receiving its first portions of attention at Parco Valentino in Turin, which is described as “the perfect place for celebrating this Italian masterpiece.”

Last time we discussed the car, we had no information about its maximum speed. This is a secret no more, as it was announced top speed stands at 250 miles per hour (402 kilometers per hour). We already knew the supercar has a massive 7.2-liter V8 engine with two turbochargers, capable of sending 1,000 horsepower (736 kilowatts) and a peak torque in excess of 886 pound-feet (1,200 Nm) to the wheels. Braking power is provided by carbon-ceramic brakes. The last piece of the puzzle, the gearbox, is a six-speed sequential one.

These super impressive figures provide an equally impressive 0-60 mph (0-96 kph) acceleration in just 2.7 seconds.

The Italian manufacturer is planning a limited production run of only 25 hand-built copies. Each of them will be sold for more than the standard Evantra’s $941,550, but we still don’t know the exact pricing.

Mazzanti Evantra Millecavalli

“Our new hypercar, the Evantra Millecavalli, is an arrival point for us,” explains company's founder, Luca Mazzanti. “Not an absolute arrival, but the result of the meticulous work and the refining process that have been started since the delivery of the Evantra project. I strongly believe that a car manufacturer shouldn’t be completely satisfied by the results just achieved, always aiming at perfecting them all the time.”
