Fastest, most powerful road-going Fiesta ST ever now available on order in United Kingdom.

Billed by Ford as being the “ultimate Fiesta,” the ST200 is the closest thing to an RS this generation of the supermini will ever get. It originally debuted back in March at the Geneva Motor Show and now it’s up for grabs in U.K. for those willing to pay the premium over the regular £17,745 ST. It still has the same turbocharged 1.6-liter engine, but it has been recalibrated to extract 10 percent more horsepower and 20 percent more torque.

That means Ford’s reputable EcoBoost now churns 200 PS (197 hp / 147 kW) and 214 lb-ft (290 Nm) of torque. There’s an overboost function which will boost output for as much as 20 seconds by 15 PS (11 kW) and 22 lb-ft (30 Nm). Thanks to the extra punch, the Fiesta ST200 will sprint to 62 mph (100 kph) from a standstill in only 6.7 seconds (down by 0.2s) and will top out at a respectable 143 mph / 230 kph (up from 139 mph / 223 kph).

Besides packing more punch than the standard Fiesta ST, the hotter ST200 also comes with an exclusive Storm Grey paint, machined matte black 17-inch alloy wheels, and red brake calipers. The interior is home to partial leather charcoal Recaro front seats with silver stitching also noticeable on the seatbelts. The special scuff plates are illuminated and adorned with the “ST200” logo just to remind you this isn’t an ordinary hot hatch. Other cabin tweaks include the alloy pedals, carbon fiber dash inserts, new headliner with silver detailing, and an ST-specific steering wheel.

Ford U.K. says it’s now taking orders for the ST200 from those willing to pay the £22,745 starting price. If you don't really need the extra performance of the ST versions, but want a sportier look, Ford just came out with an ST Line that makes the supermini look slightly better.
